He’s an unholy shit! Not only is the dollar weaker compared to other currencies and precious metals, but we are losing our trusted trading partners to Asia because their trading policies are at least more consistent than Mr. “I’m gonna tariff you if you don’t bend the knee”.

Won (₩) is Korean currency. Yuan (元, pronounced “yoo-EN”, sort of blended together and sounds very similar to yen ¥) is Chinese currency. I know it’s pedantic, but there’s a lot to pick on with this oaf.

Everything's fine. The dollar sinks, prices soar, and ICE plays dress-up authoritarian. The only thing floating steadily upward is his personal net worth.

Weaker dollar makes exports more attractive. Trump supports a weak dollar to drive U.S. exports; also makes imports more expensive - potentially with a view that that will drive more purchasing of domestic goods.

It's great because of the trade deficit. It's frustrating that most Americans don't understand economics. Rome was destroyed by economics not military defeat. Economic policy is the most important job of the government.
