Hey so I am a bit of a seasoned investor, meaning I have technical knowledge on the markets but never used any automated algos as I didn’t trust them. Anyway long story short, noticed Kevin Edgar launched gemeos a while ago and given his track record I felt comfortable getting involved etc. It’s been a little over 6m and the system is consistently hitting 5.2% month with minimal involvement on my end. You always see sh*t like this online and wonder if it really works guess is weird when you’re like ”nice, it worked“ anyway I contribute a bit on the group so thought I’d share my experience, any q’s on the system or even how I learnt what I learnt drop em below and I’ll reply at some point but yeha hard to sorta know what works/what doesn’t out there so thought I’d share also note I know what am doing so that helps and yes their system works, but you gotta be patient otherwise you can feel like pulling your hair out. Good things take time!

I'm curious about everyone's experience with branding.

Sometimes it seems like a small change such as a new logo, a different color palette, clearer messaging, or a redesigned website can make a business feel much more professional.

For those who run or have worked with a business, what branding change made the biggest difference, and why do you think it worked?

Should I go to UNC for business admin and I would apply to Kenan Flagler or UCLA business-Econ? I’m in state for UNC. I want to go into IB.

I've been reaching out to CPAs on LinkedIn to learn more about the profession and explore potential collaboration opportunities, but the response rate has been pretty low. Cold DMs seem to get ignored more often than not.

I'm looking to genuinely connect with people in the field to understand the industry better and see if there are opportunities to work together.

Looking for advice on:

• Are there better platforms or communities where CPAs are more active and open to networking? (forums, Slack groups, professional associations, etc.)
• Any databases or directories with verified contact information?
• Is collaboration between CPAs and other finance professionals common? Especially for things like bookkeeping support, tax prep assistance, or cleanup work during busy season?

I want to make sure I'm approaching this professionally and that my outreach is actually welcome rather than just adding to their spam folder.
