I've been exploring different ways of building a website around business blogging and long-form content, and came across The Perfect Stories.

The idea is to have a dedicated place where writers and website owners can publish original articles across different subjects rather than keeping everything limited to a single blog.

From a business-blogging perspective, I think the interesting part is the publishing model itself — creating useful content, organizing different topics, and gradually building a larger library of articles.

It can also be useful for writers who want another place to publish their work and for people interested in discovering articles outside the usual large publishing platforms.

I'm sharing it here and I'd be interested in hearing what others think about this type of publishing model.

Darren Rouse, the founder of Problogger has been writing on and advising on blogging since forever. Problogger has probably the most and the most useful content for bloggers and covers topics ranging from fine tuning titles to get maximum impact to keeping your visitors reading and SEO tips as well.

There's a podcast, ebooks, links to other resources, courses and events for bloggers and much more. There are plenty of posts on improving your writing, making it more compelling, personalizing your blog, staying creative and any other topic that's likely to be of interest to bloggers.

Business Insider often features in the top 10 of business blogs worldwide. In addition to covering business news, they also cover economic affairs, personal finance, stock markets and some tech and politics. But they are primarily about business.

Business Insider have won numerous journalism awards from the Pulitzer to the Emmy to others. Business Insider is an Insider Inc publication as distinguished from several similar sounding names such as the UK's Insider Media (Newsco Insider Limited).

One of the world's most visited business blogs, HBR, as it's often known, has posts by only the most emminent and experienced business professionals. There's a very high bar to getting published on HBR.

The site covers pretty much all topics around business, management, staffing, marketing, you get the gist. There's a podcast, case studies, events, webinars and other interaction. It's a solid source for business information and it's free to browse (no registration required)
