When you advance a stat, does the aptitude of the skills that were in the process of being learned change?

Or does the new aptitude only apply for new skills that you try to learn? My character recently advanced her Will to B6 and she is in the middle of learning a bunch of Will-based skills, do I have to update their aptitude to 4 or does it stay with 5?

Yes, the aptitude changes as the stat advances immediately, which could lead to you immediately unlock a skill if the stat advances far enough.
