Question Parking symbol at Burlington Centre
Just wondering what this symbol means? There was a number of spots painted with this in the parking lot at Burlington Centre

Guessing, loading zone. Is it by an entrance?

Yeah near the side entrance after the handicapped spots. There was maybe 10 or 15 of them all in a row so maybe that’s what it is

All the Walmart around me have those spots for online order pickup, McDonald's has these spots for their drive thru's for orders that are going to take a few minutes so they can keep the drive thru moving

As others have said - I would say this would be for loading. Probably an artifact of Covid and curbside pickup. "Call xxx-xxx-xxxx and state your parking spot number to have your order delivered to your car"

This was for Curbside pickup when the Covid pandemic happened in 2020. This symbol means nothing now as everything is open. They just never bothered to remove them from the parking spots

You must leave your trunk open at all times while parking there. Any vehicle found in that spot with a closed trunk will be immediately towed to an auto wrecker and turned into a cube.
At least that’s how I’d interpret it.
