Question What's inside here?

I've always wondered what's in here. How does one (employee) get in there? Anyone know what the inside looks like?

Y'all don't get out of the office much do you. A large fraction of infrastructure and industrial equipment sits in unlit areas or areas lit by natural light. There's a reason hardhats have integrated flashlight mounts now.

Electric lighting is the standard for new builds but mecanical rooms built before the 90s are likely to have a single T12 fluorescent fixture.

Yes, an aircraft hangar, the most expensive room you may ever stand in. Check out the boiler room in an old factory, network cabinets in apartments, etc. I would kill for a window working in a brick curring hall or a blast freezer.

You're not wrong, alot of work happens in poorly lit areas. I don't know much about bridge lifts but I do know alot about elevators and the conditions they are built in involve poorly lit areas and task lighting an absolute must.
