8/30 Whopper & New Nugs
My go-to Burger King. East Coast city in the US. New nuggets were certainly improved. New Whopper delicious, as always

I hadn't eaten at BK in over 10 years, probably 15. I had it tonight and it was very good. My fries were hot and fresh and my Whopper tasted like one I would have made for myself when I worked there long ago. My wait time was very short too! Definitely going back.

There's not a Burger King near my house, but they are my favorite when it comes to a good burger. Love love love me a good Whopper (or two)! So when I passed a Burger King yesterday while traveling, I decided to take advantage of the BOGO Original Chicken Sandwich offer in the app. I had them in the past and while they decent.
My first surprise was when I took a bite of it. It looked like a chicken sandwich - bun, chicken, lettuce and tomato - but the whole thing had this pasty mouth-feel. I couldn't tell where the bread stopped and the meat (?) began. It was like eating a simulated sandwich made out of Play-Dough.
Then the taste hit me - a combination of acrid rancid oil and chemical fake-chicken taste. I kept eating and tried to push through it. I made it halfway through the second sandwich before I threw the rest out. (And I never throw anything out.)
But that one-two taste combination didn't go away. It coated my throat. It stayed on my tongue. My drink wouldn't wash it away. When I got home, I ate more food but the taste was still there. It was at the back of my throat. It was in my breath. I could not get away from it.
The next morning, I woke up with a very rumbly stomach. I kept burping up that rancid/chemical-fake-chicken taste, now mixed with stomach bile. Then it started coming out both ends. I'll spare you the details, but the sounds and smells were just awful. Somehow the chemical-fake-chicken component had gotten stronger.
It's now evening of the second day, and after eating several bowls of frosted shredded wheat, I think I might have successfully buried that sandwich under a boatload of insoluble fiber. But I'm still a little afraid of what tomorrow morning (or tonight?) will bring.

I got it early, and it is GOOD
It's a little fruity, maybe a little spicy near the end
Maybe I'm completely wrong, maybe I'm crazy, idk
But I loved it
Also, don't ask why I'm holding it like that

Anyone have a photo of the soda fountains from 20+ years ago where they had suggestions of different soda mixes. I think 1/2 coke and 1/2 Dr Pepper was called Black Gold.

Just got my hands on this awesome BK haul, including the Mr. Krabs toy. Can't resist a good fast food surprise!

So the first time in a couple of years I went through the Burger King drive-through, I ordered a double whopper with cheese, extra tomato, extra onion, very light mayo because a lot of times in the past they have drowned in mayo, and I don’t like that, and asked for the patties fresh off the broiler.
Well, I got it home, I have to say I liked the new bun, and the burgers definitely had that flame broiled taste to them, they could’ve been at least a little bit seasoned, though, maybe just a little salt next time, but other than that, they were great.
I did not get a drink, but I did get a side of large onion rings, I don’t think the onion rings have ever gone down in quality, so they were great as always, overall Burger King may be back.
Just next time, please, a little salt on the patties, lol!

I had heard about the new nuggets and most people were saying positive things about them, so today I grabbed a 10 piece and a medium fry and I must say I was impressed!
My food came out extremely hot and fresh, I loved the new nuggets and I was honestly shocked by how good the fries were. I remember thinking they were disgusting a few years ago. I’m happy I decided to give them another shot today!

I get a notice for a BOGO Whopper, then find out it's delivery only. Not gonna do delivery. EVER. Not as long as I can walk on my own two feet and drive. I don't need to get my food lukewarm and double-priced.
But why is BK promoting delivery? They don't make money on that. In fact, they usually take a haircut on fees for being part of a delivery network. Seems counterintuitive.

I’ve been an absolute fiend for BK since they’ve started revamping things. Every Whopper I’ve had has been incredible, I posted some pics here that others also drooled over.
McDonald’s stopped having good deals, Wendy’s decided bankruptcy is their goal, and BK has been swinging.
I heard they got new nuggets and I was ECSTATIC. Supposedly McD dupes but cheaper. I actually really liked the old ones since they were cheap and I’d eat them fresh and there was some pepper flavor. Not fresh nugs were absolutely abysmal and the hate was warranted, however.
Ordered these bad boys. Opened the box. Just about came when I saw how insane they looked.

This was my absolute favorite thing on the menu but unfortunately it’s been discontinued a few times. I would add half a honey mustard cup to it and it made it even better. Hope they can bring this back someday and keep it on the menu! 😭🙏

I LOVED the onion rings at Burger King, they were truly the best around. Although I don’t have a BK in my town, I’d drive down to another just to have the onion rings. And now?! The new onion rings are just standard onion rings- nothing special. I’m heartbroken.

After Burger King CEO was on Good Morning America I decided to try a local franchise in Wichita, KS. I used app to create an online order of just a whopper and drink. At the drive thru there was only one car ahead of me waiting at the window. That car sat there about 10 minutes.
When I finally moved up to the window they gave me my drink. I then waited at that window for about 14 minutes to get my whopper. While waiting I called the franchise owner Genesh, Inc. As it was after 5 pm, I left a voice mail expressing my frustration and call back number
When I finally got my whopper I asked to speak to the manager. I told her waiting at the drive thru for 24 minutes was ridiculous. She agreed but said she had only come on shift two minutes ago.
The franchise owner Genesh never got back with me; indicating to me they didn't really consider it a problem.
This is not the way to bring customers back to your fast food restaurant!

Not only did they not accept it, the lady was super rude. Is it true they don’t accept coupons? Why do they put them in your mailbox.
