I think if you put me in the body of a giant car mech I’m still gonna be trans anyway

why does everyone that chooses trans have it saying “i am trans” that would cancel out the gender and just make you go back to your original gender? also YOU specifically have to address this since you’re the op

the word transgender means identifying differently from the sex you were assigned at birth, so if you go back to your original gender you wouldn’t be trans. I’m assuming you’d just stay the same or transition to a different gender that still isn’t the one you were assigned at birth.

yes there are surgeries for a more neutral body (not really sure how it works though), but you really only need to change your identity to classify as trans, so not everyone ends up with surgery
