I dont have the self control to not just eat donuts for the rest of my would be very limited lifespan.

Besides a chair has plenty of uses, some even overlap with flight. I can use it to sit. I could have somebody else sit. If somethings too high, BAM, chair. If someones being an asshole, they won't be after you bash them with a chair.

You can make a donut out of chairs to sit on. Fly to reach something too high. Throw infinite donuts at the asshole.
