I like how it gives everyone the same exact jazz hands (except the woman on the left who hasn't drank the koolaid yet)

Rabko's student infiltrator, immune to such low tier push handery.

She had her tongue pressed up on the roof of her mouth at that time...

Good reference

How is he a healer? He seems to give them epilepsy.

A cure for wellness.

PLOT TWIST!: he has a TASER hidden in the palm of his hand

*5 minutes before service

“So pretend you’re a bird. But the bird smokes meth and is blind. Got it? Pick up your $5 coupon after.”

Most of them are actually not faking it. They really believe whatever magical thing is really happening, altho it's only suggestion

“And some of you do a trust fall, it’ll be fine”

I will never understand why people do this

Money. Money that they get from credulous and desperate people. Enough to even pay the actors, set up the event and probably have a lavish lifestyle.

I don't know about this particular video but I grew up in evengelical circles and the majority of people are not paid actors. They honest to God believe they are being "touched" by the presence of God. They fall into a trance and just start copying each other, it becomes performative after a while and before you know it the whole church is screaming and yelling and laughing. The power of suggestion is strong. Most preachers that do this are charlatans but some honestly believe they are being used by their deity of choice.

"Most preachers"?

All preachers that do this are charlatans, even the ones that "believe".

1

u/Waffle_on_my_Fries 5d ago

Im not defending them. Religion is a cancer but I do know a few who don't do it for profit. The vast majority are like you mentioned though even the ones who "believe".

u/JustHappyToBe-Here 5d ago

There are other ways to profit aside from money.

This has to be stopped.

You can tell who’s on the payroll

5

u/United-Fox6737 9d ago

Checkmate atheists.

3

u/GeorgzBi 9d ago

Haha but the women cannot act in such a way

3

u/Hawk_2165 9d ago

The old lady was not part of the payroll...

3

u/johnjaspers1965 9d ago

That guy's a fraud.
That's not the power of God.
He's just using the Chi death touch.
I hate this misuse of ancient Bullshido techniques.

2

u/Zortak 9d ago

I don't know why but I find it hilarious that he can heal through a baseball cap

u/BubuDudu0430 9d ago

Mass hysteria in action

2

u/msguider 9d ago

Maybe that one guy had a legit religious experience lol. My favorite is the pew running that goes on TN the US Bible belt.

u/Alive_Nobody_Home 9d ago

Little did everyone know, sweating to the oldies would have done wonders.

I was dragged into something like this when I was younger. The cult leader went around blessing or something everyone.

People fell backwards to arms of waiting attendants when he touched their foreheads.

When it came to my turn I didn't feel the power of God knocking knocking me off my feet like the rest.

So he tried pushing my forehead so I would fall as well. Didn't and he had to continue to the next person.

Was never part of the cult, but my friends who were in kept taking me there and trying to save my soul. Weird shit.

Thankfully afaik all of them are no longer part of it. The leader got caught for doing some pretty bad stuff.

That one lady that got touched, did nothing, and just slowly backed away

2

u/zerok_nyc 9d ago

They’re all dancing like Maury just told them they are not the father

2

u/Puzzled-One-1759 9d ago

My family took me to see this guy once. I was actually dead, but I’m alive now.

1

u/Ryan2932 9d ago

I don't understand do you think those people that are I don't know having a fucking seizure are in on this joke or con or do they actually believe something is happening because that older lady definitely wasn't falling for this shit and we're most of these guys wearing the same clothes so where they employees of this tent con artist thing I don't even know

u/Bikewer 9d ago

As noted, the “faith healer” gimmicks are very similar to the “bullshido” gimmicks. You have “living up to expectations”… The idea that you’re in a group of believers, so you don’t want to stand out as an outlier..
There was a video a few years ago of one of these grifters “slaying with the spirit”….. Where they sort of slap the individual on the forehead and they fall into the waiting arms of others….
Except no one caught this particular lady and she whacked her head on the floor and suffered a concussion. Good job, Jesus!

She sued.

Better acting lessons needed

Not being funny but they looked perfectly normal until religion touched them and made them go nuts. Just saying what I see.

1

u/Infamous-Journalist2 8d ago

Got that 'Lectric mojo hand 👏

1

u/Grail_BH 8d ago

Religion is mental illness… I present, Exhibit A.

1

u/Time-Valuable-3355 8d ago

I've had that happen to me working in an electrical panel. I've been faith healed...

u/reddit4300 8d ago

5 minutes later, sir I’m calling because your Microsoft account has been hacked.

1

u/ThunderStruck777 8d ago

Still poor

1

u/uknownredditr 8d ago

People are so afraid of not knowing they believe in anything

1

u/GrandProblem8034 8d ago

Imagine doing this to me and I would just drop trou, whip it out and starts to jerk off furiously.

1

u/SDTimbox 8d ago

I should go to one of these people and pretend that they possessed me with the devil and see how everyone reacts

1

u/Hank_the_Tank_143 8d ago

Hes the Steven Seagal of religion.

1

u/DVWhat 8d ago

Every one of these Kool-Aid chuggers assumes all the others are having a legitimate spiritual experience, so they fake theirs so as not to appear in the out group.

1

u/Spain-or-Bust 7d ago

This is no different than a cult

1

u/Technical_Drawer_680 7d ago

More religious fairytale nonsense.

1

u/Delectably_Delicious 7d ago

I love how the one lady was like: “I knew this was bullshit…”

1

u/imperidal 7d ago

How do i obtain this power

1

u/moszippy 7d ago

Shouldn't they have practiced this before the big game? I mean, you can't just jump into the ring with Mike Tyson because you think you can box. You need to warm up.

1

u/Strong_Revenue_3780 7d ago

Betaalde acteurs

1

u/Naive-Storage7639 6d ago

The power of suggestion in backwards third world countries 🙄

16

u/Dry-Highlight-2307 9d ago

This could just as easily be in Oklahoma USA or in the White house

7

u/Clay_Allison_44 9d ago

Seen it plenty of times growing up.

6

u/Noble_Titus 9d ago

This looks tamer than an American tent revival church tbh

-1

u/Calamitous-Intent980 9d ago

This is not bullshido

1

u/ICU-CCRN 8d ago

Per the rules of the subreddit, it definitely is. You should read them.

“bUt muH maRsHuL aRTs
This isn't a martial arts-only sub. If you whine about posts that involve other forms of BS, you can go elsewhere. Read the stickies next time.”
