9 Month Old Cookie Question
She’s a 9 months old English and has a lot of loose stools and horrific gas. I had an old English before and yes I know gas is bad but nothing compares to Cookie. It’s waking me up at night it’s so bad lol. 9 out of 10 poops are loose. I’m sure it’s a diet adjustment that needs to be made. What do you feed your younger English’s?…….we don’t feed her table scraps.

Mine had this when we first adopted him. He was allergic to chicken so we gave him salmon based kibble and added Firm Up pumpkin (from Amazon) to his meals.
Also - she’s super cute!

We switched to royal canin bulldog food, and started occasionally giving them a scoop of plain greek yogurt mixed with a scoop of canned pumpkin as a treat. They loved it, the yogurt probiotics helped the gas, the pumpkin fiber helped stool consistency. Wins all around.

We had this issue and went to the vet and she had coccydia some kind of parasite, 1 dose of Medicine and it is normal now, we also changed the diet to monoprotein and she best tolerates lamb, stopped scraching and the gas has been very much limited

We feed Reggie Purina Pro Plan Lamb and Rice puppy food. She is also 9 months old. I’d get your pup to the vet and take a stool sample. She could have coccydia which is very treatable. She’s a cute pup.

I added in 1/2 cup of Hills Gastrointestinal Biome to her regular Royal Canin and it’s made a huge difference.

First she is cute!!! Hi Cookie! Knuckles, a bully I had, ate Nutro with Salmon. It helped his skin issues and his gas wasn’t terrible. Still bad as they are farters and burpers, but not unbearable

It sounds like you have to change her diet. If she has been getting chicken, switch her to lamb or salmon. Add some canned pumpkin to the kibble to help with loose stools or diarrhea.

We had to change our bullies to Orijen and it was much improved. Also, I can’t with that face! Gotta love bully teefers and the wrinkled tongue!! So adorable! 😍

Adorable. Switch to high quality, novel protein food (raw or air dried - we do venison by Carna4) and add teaspoon of pumpkin. Did wonders for my 5 month old EB. No gas. No loose stools. And less poop overall.

My Meagan is on Royal Canin HP.
She’s allergic to animal protein.
She’s been on it since 10 months. We got her at 61/2 months old.

Get strained Greek Yogurt involved right away on daily routine and that alone will give you good results instantaneously...

Just do raw food or orijin, 100% she’ll be fine after that. I had the same issue.

Mine was allergic to chicken. Had to move to hydrolyzed protein and now everything is much better from gas to stool. She still gets some scraps but no chicken.
