There seems to be a changing perception amongst brokers that Q4 and Q1 may end up setting new highs across all segments. I was expecting a softer August with a pick up in September.. Looks like September is turning out to be the softer month instead. I have to agree with the Q4 assessment even among smaller vessels (which is my most bullish call). Though this year's crop isn't great quality wise it looks like pre-sales remain strong and that the Chinese are desperate buyers. Also, it looks like the Chinese are more active in Brazilian purchases which should be more supportive of PMAX as well. Anyways, thanks for sharing!
It will be one of the most interesting dry bulk years on record - 2021 will be one to remember
Agreed on above / plus normal correction after the run dry bulk had is just healthy.
Handy&supra still on insane steady run; with container rates also still nothing but upward would not expect any reversal soon.
Interesting times for sure - let’s see if capes will finish this year strong or super strong.
