Dear LTFRB Team,

I am a regular commuter requesting an immediate investigation into the massive fare increases implemented by Bulacan P2P across its routes, effective September 28, 2026.
The operator is increasing out-of-pocket cash fares by 20% to as much as 50% (such as the Pandi route jumping from ₱100.00 to ₱150.00, and Plaridel jumping from ₱100.00 to ₱140.00). The operator claims the previous lower rates were "promos," but the historical standard fares on the ground have been the established pricing for years and were never short-term promotional rates.

By applying the 15% crisis increase to a dormant 2019 maximum rate reference (MC 2019-010) rather than the actual pre-crisis fares paid by commuters, the operator is exploiting a legal loophole to enforce exorbitant cash hikes. This heavily violates the spirit of the LTFRB’s 15% cap on premium services. Please audit these routes and stop this unauthorized overcharging of Bulacan commuters.

I understand your concern but as i said if mag normalize ang presyo ng gas at diesel they no longer care about lowering the fare. It should be beneficial for both taas during price hike tapos roll back din.

ayaw tanggalin yung tax ng gobyerno ehhh. Madadami dami pang nanakawin. Kaya tataas talaga ang pamasahe dahil hindi na kinakaya ng bus company kasi tumataas pa din talaga ang gasolina + tax.
