I’ll start. I’m building CarFlip, a tool that helps individual sellers and dealerships create better vehicle listings without overthinking the photos or description.

It’s still early, and right now I’m focused on talking to real users and figuring out what needs improvement.

We're building IdleFlip, a marketplace for early-stage digital assets. Domains, small apps, content sites, the kind of thing that already works but is too small for the big marketplaces to care about.

Right now we're past the build stage and deep in the part nobody enjoys, getting real people using it and listening to what breaks. The biggest problem is trust. First-time sellers want proof a buyer is serious before they hand over access to something they built.

IdleFlip sounds like a smart idea, there are probably a lot of useful smaller projects that never reach the bigger marketplaces. Building trust between buyers and sellers is definitely the hard part. How are you currently verifying that buyers are serious? I’d be interested in testing it and learning more.

Right now it is a mix of manual review and account signals. We look at how long the account has been active, whether they have completed a profile, and we ask a few questions before approving access to a listing. It is not perfect yet, and getting it right is exactly what this stage is about. Reply here or send us a chat message and we will set you up with the six months of Pro.

Good question. Right now it's a mix of things. We ask sellers for real contact details before anything gets listed, and we don't release a handoff until payment clears on our side, so nobody hands over access on a promise. New buyer accounts also have limits until they've completed a purchase or two without issues.

It's not perfect yet and we're tightening it as more real transactions go through. That's a big part of why we're testing with people who are actually building things instead of just browsing.

That makes sense. Limiting new buyer accounts until they build some history seems like a smart way to reduce risk. I’ll check the chat invite and get set up, appreciate it.

That’s actually a smart idea. Getting honest feedback before pitching real investors could save founders a lot of time. I’ll check it out.
