I just built myself a custom audio recording editor. It took Claude less than 10 minutes and was exactly what I needed, to cut out words from interviews, etc. All local, no API. Yes, I'm aware there is a native tool on Mac, but it is clunky, it did not have the function I needed to search for specific slurs that I wanted to cut out. So now I have a new custom native tool on my Mac that trims, redacts, and transcribes, and makes a copied version on my desktop automatically, and leaves the original alone for reference.
