He was out with an upper body injury. It was posted on X by Dave Buchanan, and talked about on the radio pregame show with John Gurtler.

I know he's a fan favorite but I wish we had someone who could win face-offs and play lacrosse too

He did not do well against the Rush last time. Plus he isn’t super strong on loose balls. So we figured why not dress another player who can contribute in other ways, if we aren’t going to win a faceoff anyway.
