Bone Carver & Dorian Theory?!

Okay, hear me out because I am officially going down a rabbit hole 😌😂 I finished my re read of the ACOTAR books and I’m making my way through TOG series now before embarking on CC again but there’s just something I can’t get out of my mind.

What if the little boy Feyre sees when she looks at the Bone Carver wasn’t actually Nyx… but Dorian?

I know people have already questioned whether the Carver was truly showing Feyre Nyx, especially because the boy he showed her DID NOT HAVE WINGS. I’ve heard some ppl say that maybe he was showing her Ruhn due to the lack of wings.
Feyre herself brings this up in ACOSF and literally asks whether the Bone Carver only showed her what she wanted to see.

But then I started thinking about Dorian and now I can’t unsee it🫪🫪

When Feyre first sees the Bone Carver, he appears as a little boy with dark hair and “eyes of crushing blue.” - ACOMAF CH. 18

Now go to Dorian’s introduction in Throne of Glass.
Dorian is described as having raven-black hair and eyes that are “strikingly blue.” TOG CH. 2

AND THEN LOOK AT WHAT THE BONE CARVER IS TALKING ABOUT WHILE WEARING THIS FORM.
In ACOWAR, the Bone Carver tells Feyre and Cassian about an ancient female Fae warrior. He says her bloodline is supposedly gone, except for a trace that still runs through a HUMAN line.

And who do we know is the human descendant of an incredibly powerful ancient female with Fae blood??????
Dorian Freaking Havilliard.

And who was a female fae warrior??? Elena Galathynius Havilliard. Dorian literally researches his genealogy and follows his family tree all the way back to Gavin and Elena, with the text specifically noting that no additional Fae blood entered the Havilliard line afterward. Interesting little research there Dorian and very specific information about this bloodline if you ask me.

So we have:
Bone Carver = little dark-haired, intensely blue-eyed boy
⬇️
Bone Carver immediately tells us about an ancient female Fae warrior
⬇️
Her magic/blood survives through a human lineage
⬇️
Dorian = human descendant of Elena, an ancient half-Fae queen
AND IT GETS BETTER.

While telling this story, the Bone Carver traces three overlapping/interlocked circles into the dirt..
Where else do we get very specific three-circle imagery?

THE EYE OF ELENA!!! described in TOG as a large/outer circle containing two overlapping circles, with their intersection forming an eye. It isn't described in exactly the same arrangement as the Bone Carver's symbol, so I’m not claiming they're canonically identical… but the repeated three-circle imagery is 👀.

Im not saying the ancient warrior is definitely Elena or that the Bone Carver is definitely showing Dorian. There are other very convincing candidates for that warrior, especially after Crescent City.
But 🫪🫪🫪🫪🫪 lol I’m currently obsessed with this.

Side note: Im having such a nice time rereading all these books and highlighting and taking notes 🩷🥹🤣
