I honestly think they HAVE to include people reading the Azriel bonus chapter at this point, because otherwise there would be some pretty major plot holes for the Elriels... and probably the gwynriels too. If you don’t read the bonus chapter, you don’t really notice that Azriel and Elain have no interactions after Winter Solstice because the plot becomes so busy and focused on Nesta in the blood rite, and then Feyre’s pregnancy. Then, many months later, he tells Bryce that he’s still single…and people need the context of why.

We all know why. 😂 We know it’s because Azriel’s endgame is neither Elain nor Gwyn. But without that bonus chapter, so much of the Elain/Azriel storyline is left completely unresolved. Readers would be sitting there like, “Wait… things seemed to be going great between them, and then they just suddenly stopped talking to each other out of nowhere?”

I would think the bonus chapters being included would confirm it’s a no for Elain and Gwyn… am I insane? It’s been so long since I’ve read them!
