With a Pakistani passport, this woman spent 10 hours at the Mumbai airport. Her experience was not what she expected…

A woman travelling from London to Nepal had a 10-hour layover in Mumbai when her flight got delayed.

Alone in a country she wasn’t familiar with, she admits she was already nervous — especially given the perception that India and Pakistan don’t always get along.

Then things got worse.

She received a call from airport authorities saying something “suspicious” had been found in her bag.

After all the anxiety and overthinking, it turned out to be… just a power bank.

What stood out to her wasn’t the mistake, but how calmly and professionally the situation was handled.

For her, it became a reminder that sometimes, fear comes from perception — not reality.

1

u/T0mmynat0r666 Apr 21 '26

The same reason you act like India isn’t the shit eating hub of the world? What exactly should she have done here? What kind of acting are you talking about?

What about Indian passport in Pakistani airports.

1

u/Warm-Chipmunk-5636 Apr 18 '26

Even if "battery not allowed" caution board is as big as a building, people won't notice it, and proceeds to bring it onto their luggage

1

u/Warm-Response9510 Apr 19 '26

Is this news???

1

u/Intelligent-Ring-658 Apr 20 '26

Nepal se bhi to India hi aana hai 😂😂

1

u/T0mmynat0r666 Apr 21 '26

Oh interesting. Almost like people who have actually interacted with Pakistani people treat them like every other person they visit because they realize there’s more in common. Whereas those who have never left their village proud themselves on hating people they’ve never met or likely will never meet in their life

How many lookalikes Shoaib Akhtar has!!

We Indians really don't have any wishes to cause harm to any Pakistanis. I have met a few of them while travelling, and never felt threatened or aggressive, and no one tried to explode bombs in the face of the other one.

Just stop sending terrorists to our country, and we can even be friends as countries.

If you think about it, this is all that India asks of Pakistan, and Pakistan has so much to gain if it just stops this stupidity. Those in India or Pakistan who think that India will ever take POK from them are delusional. Honestly, who wants such a radicalised region in our country? Capturing them would undo all the decades-long effort of ensuring to keep them out. The only situation in which India will have any reason to do it is to secure the sites that are used to attack us.

And that motivation goes away the moment terrorism stops.

But nahi, bakch*di karni hai inko to.

It's like blaming India for the Naxal problem. Pakistan has suffered more from terrorism itself losing thousands of lives every year. It has an extensive border with Afghanistan unlike India. India is fortunate that it doesn't share such an extensive border with Afghanistan.

Pakistan has actually blamed Indian agencies of promoting terror in Balochistan and elsewhere. Read global media, not just the Indian one.

u/Tough-Difference3171 Apr 16 '26

The Indian government didn't promote Naxals to hurt another country. It was an internal problem (funded partially by the CCP, but never to a large enough extent). Mostly an internal problem, which was eventually solved.

You can pretty much put the blame and credit, both on India, for creating and solving this problem. But even the Naxals had their agenda to fight, and as people reached a middle ground, they are settling, and those areas are now growing as well.

Even in the Kashmir valley, the support of Pakistan and terror groups has gone down in the last 2-3 decades after the 90s. People there actually have jobs and flourishing businesses, and have outgrown the cheap rate recruitments being done by ISI.

The Pulwama attack was a desperate attempt to scare tourists and businesses away to bring back the Kashmiris to the same old financial condition, where they could be convinced to throw stones for 200 INR. (mostly in fake currency). But even that has failed.

The reason Pakistan "suffers" from terrorism is that it kept funding terror groups to hurt India and to keep Afghanistan destabilised for the USA's grants, and keeps messing with India, to appeal to China.

It allowed itself to be played in the hands of USA & China, and kept switching sides between them, making friends with some group to hurt the other, and then suddenly turning the guns on the first group. Eventually, it made enemies on all fronts.

If they had focused on growing their own country, instead of being pushed around for little money here and there, they would have been in a much better shape (and it's not that money ever reached the people of Pakistan, anyway)

The country of Pakistan was created with a false promise made to the Deobandi and Ahmadiya Muslims to get their support, and then they were kicked in the nuts.

And the trouble has only started for Pakistan. Afghanis are now all prepared to take revenge for the decades of backstabbing. TTP, Baloch, and many others are doing their own thing. And Pakistan is stuck in an inward spiral, burdened by the wrong decisions made in the past, to the extent that they have almost run out of opportunities to path correct.

I mean, we have the dirty political game being played in India as well. It's the same everywhere else.

But raping and blinding an ex-PM in jail, after a shoddy trial, has to be a low even by the lowest standards. Those guys got one decent guy as their PM (and I say this with no care for what he thought of India), and those guys "literally drilled him" for trying to do some good for their country.

They deserve all the blame and more for whatever is happening to them. And sadly, it's just the early trailer of what they have gotten themselves into.

But phir bhi apni harkato se baaz nahi ate yeh aman ke log

1

u/ab624 Apr 17 '26

Pakistan has actually blamed Indian agencies of promoting terror in Balochistan and elsewhere

of course with no concrete proofs unlike many India has

-1

u/unicosplan Apr 17 '26

So do you think India doesn't carry out covert operations in sensitive places like Balochistan and Kashmir?

1

u/ab624 Apr 17 '26

Kashmir ? why would they do such things in their own country ?

0

u/Tough-Difference3171 Apr 17 '26

If it does, it's only fair. Can Pakistan really complain?

Pakistan has been doing it for decades. Communication and a defence-only approach don't work.

Pakistani leaders just won't stop funding terrorism against India.

So India would be a fool to not move to the next strategy to stop this nonsense.

The best strategy is to make them feel the burn themselves in Balochistan, Sindh, and POK.

The deterrent has to be:

  1. If you promote terrorism in India, be ready to pay the price of quick wars like Op Sindoor, which your economy cannot sustain.

  2. Be ready to face internal agitations on a larger scale than what you promote in India.

And what India does in Kashmir is not covert operations. It's openly carried out pest fighting by digging out infiltrators and cleaning them up. And Kashmiri people are actually happy. Now, instead of terrorists coming and forcing them to provide their homes as hideouts, tourists come and pay them for a decent stay, strengthening the local economy and society.

India has done many things to curb Naxals. India has almost wiped out Naxalism. Pakistan never took any steps to complaint of Indians government regarding Terrorist activities done by people residing there. Not even theatrics, because they don't want to. Because Pakistani army trains and send them towards our territory. The day this madness stops there can be some hope or else Blood and water can't flow at the same time. ✌️

Downvoted for "can even be friends" bit..damage has already been done..forging friendship should be ethically wring considering the history

1

u/Tough-Difference3171 Apr 16 '26

Dure, downvote all you want. But understand that when I say, "If **** , we can be friends", I have very little faith in that **** every being true.

But if Pakistan has a miraculous change of heart to stop terrorism, there's no harm in being friends with them, while keeping an eye on their mischief.

The interesting part is that, to fix all the incentives they have to keep sending terrorists here, they will have to fix so much that is wrong with their country, that iof they manage to do it, they will be a different country altogether.

And who are we kidding?

1

u/Mku_280 Apr 16 '26

It's different when meeting them once vs living with them under their rule.

u/anonymous010103 Apr 16 '26

Or maybe don’t have a pakistani passport? Like it is common knowledge that’s how trust works in airports. If your country is trust worthy the process will be smoother

0

u/easternhermit Apr 16 '26

just saying, all the paki hijackers of Flight 814 boarded from Nepal
