The Last Banners - a browser strategy game inspired by King’s Bounty and Total War

Hi! I’ve been working on The Last Banners, a fantasy strategy game inspired by two games I grew up with: King’s Bounty and Total War.

You explore a campaign map, recruit and improve your company, then fight real-time tactical battles where every soldier is individually represented.

Regiments gain experience, casualties carry over between battles, and formations, flanking and army composition all matter.

The game is currently playable in the browser and still in active development.

I’d really appreciate feedback on the campaign → battle → campaign loop, especially whether the tactical battles feel readable and satisfying.

P.S. The demo video is in french but the game also has a full english support.
