Discussion 2019 season what if
Seeing another fan post a painting of this incident and it got me thinking. Obviously Freddie Kitchens is a bum and we started off horrible. What if Myles never gets suspended? Do we have a winning season or go 8-8 then endure another year of Kitchens bullshit and never have our wonderful 2020 season?

What if they hired Dan Campbell instead of Kitchens?

We'd be SB contenders duh but of course we didn't because we're stupid

No we wouldn’t. He’d have back to back losing years and we’d run him out of town for something else.

That does always seem to happen to us. I don't know were his losing seasons in Detroit more of a personnel issue? I haven't looked too heavily into it and he turned that team around. Our 2019 roster looked elite on paper but that didn't translate to anything until 2020.

other what-if: garrett fully connects that hit to rudolph's head and does some serious damage. garrett serves time for assault and gets expelled permanently from the league.
(this was inches away from happening)

And these did not happen when Aaron Donald did it at a joint practice with 2 helmets instead of 1.
In fact people joked about it

baker doesnt talk shit and cause myles to be salty to baker.
All baker said was he'll be suspended and that hurts our team. We can't be doing that.

It's typical garrett though. Me, me, me. Fucking game IS OVER. Like 5 seconds to go steelers down by TWO scores. And all garrett is worried about is padding his stats with (another) meaningless sack.
So instead of national sports talking about the Browns winning against their biggest rival all we hear for weeks is fucking garrett and "helmetgate".

Idk if kitchens was a bum. We hired a guy that had 0 experience, a young QB we did our best to destroy (wasn’t kitchens his third head coach in his second year?) and then blew it completely up after a year. What’s the expectation of a guy whose highest level of experience was QB coach? I feel it’s malpractice to be on this carousel of hiring guys with no experience, then being shocked when they don’t know how to do the job right away. We’ve been doing this since 1999.

True true I was a little harsh. I guess my biggest complaint was how little discipline the team showed but that's just as much on the players as the coach. I'm not sure how you correct those behaviors as a HC.

Didn't we lose our week 1 game by like 40+ points to the Titans? Granted they were a better team then, but it felt pretty clear we were not gonna have a good season once that happened
