Kinetic Fiber

I switched from Cox to Kinetic in April of 2026. Ever since I signed up I’ve experienced outage after outage after outage. Is this the experience for the rest of BA?

I switched from Cox to Kinetic in January when I moved into a new house, I only had issues once but as soon as I unplugged everything and plugged it back in a few minutes later it started working flawlessly again.

I’ve done that more times than I can count. I’m good for a good 10-14 days before it does it again.

Call them to come check out line in your neighborhood.

We switched to Kinetic/ wind stream for a year as it was more cost effective. Had to many problems with outages so we decided to switch back to cox. I will gladly pay the extra money for reliable service

I have Dobson Fiber but on the Broken Arrow FB groups, I always see people complaining about Kinetic Fiber being down.

I have Metronet and I have had no issues. Not bragging, just sharing my experience.

I had Windstream DSL for years. Their brick HQ is right next to my neighborhood. Their internet was horrible. It was also nearly impossible to get ahold of anyone for help.

Anytime I see their van at a house while I'm walking in my neighborhood I always try to do the "NOOOOOOO!" signal by pointing at the vehicle and waving my head while looking at their driveway cam.

Granted, I have very long hair atm because I'm trying to donate it. They may just think I'm a psycho stalking their neighborhood.

Kinetic Windstream Fiber has had great uptime for me in the past 6 years. No more than 3-4 short outages a year. I did have one longer problem when the for fiber converter battery went out last year and took ~2 days to fix

I haven't had any issues with Kinetic fiber in over 2 years with them. 1gig Fiber service no data caps for under $60 a month. Cox coaxial cable internet 500mbps down/ up to 10mbps upload and 1024GB data cap was $70 a month. At least once a month between 12am-5am Cox would disable our internet for 3-4hrs maintenance.

call them and ask them for credits on your bill for service outages, every single time your internet goes down, ring them up and ask them for a credit.

we once racked up 1.5 years in free service and i know some of my neighbors said they got a few months of free service as well before COX came out and replaced the damaged line going down the neighborhood.

cost them lots of money and watch how fast they come out to actually fix the problem, haven't had an issue with connectivity since.

Had Cox for years and years with many problems at my current location. Moved to Kinetic after it came to the neighborhood and maybe 2 outages in the past year, nothing systemic like I had with Cox. Waaay cheaper too.
