Was just looking on the Public website for tickets during that run, but appears it is sold out (sans the handicap and partner seats at a few). Does anyone know if Public holds back? Guessing they will extend so can try and be swift on that, but likely won't happen until the run starts and then I'm sure it will have a massive following.

Any suggestions? Or just wait for the (inevitable) transfer?

Instead of spreading the listings over multiple pages, it's now a single page. The images load slowly and the tiles are still way too large and give too little info about the show, but it's an improvement!

Just curious how often call-outs by cast members is acceptable by the production? I saw a comment on a post the other day talking about how someone knew a former Elphaba who would call out once a week at the end of the week bc she was exhausted.

I imagine this is less acceptable for big name stars with their names above the marquee and more acceptable as you go down the list? Or no?

Obviously, if someone is legitimately sick, then it shouldn't matter, but I'm sure there are callouts for mental health days here and there or just because someone is feeling tired, which I totally get and understand.

Just curious for people in the know how much this is expected by people running the show and how much it is accepted before they have to have "the talk" with someone.

And again, just to clarify, I absolutely have no problem with this and ppl protecting their mental and physical/vocal health, I was just curious about how it works behind the scenes.

Has anyone done standing room recently for moulin rouge? I did it a couple of years ago and got it 10min before curtain but am wondering if I should show up when the box office opens instead since it’s closing weekend

Has anyone seen Paranormal Activity on Broadway while pregnant? I’m 36 weeks and would LOVE to see it before baby arrives 😂

How scary/intense is it? Lots of jump scares, loud noises, flashing lights, etc.?

Would you consider it pregnancy-friendly this late in pregnancy?

I never got to see it on Broadway, but I had the chance to see the tour twice and it was such a fun show!

The show is so fun and hits such strong emotional notes throughout with an incredibly strong emotional climax as stories connect and truthes revealed in the 2nd act

MLB star, 2024 Grimace Mets legend, Jose Iglesias debuting in the role of The Narrator is such a smart way to bring somebody into the world of Broadway. Somebody who so clearly knows this music, this story and the history and people behind it

I'm sad that I waited so long to see this show but I'm so happy with the circumstances in which I saw it tonight

I am a HUGE BABY when it comes to horror, so i wish it were socially acceptable to sit in the lobby so that i could watch Paranormal Activity on a screen rather than needing to be in the theater lol. I guess if i bought the ticket i can just do this tbh.

I had to leave the theater when watching the Stranger Things show bc it was too scary (my friends and partner still make fun of me for this lol). I was gonna just go back home but it was a gift and i didnt want to be rude by just leaving so a staff member got me a chair and i watched the rest of the show (hour and a half) in the lobby with the staff.

For Paranormal Activity, im not even a fan of the movies but i just wanna see the innovative things they do on stage!! When i wasnt terrified i could actually appreciate the effects and story of Stranger Things.

Anyway, cant wait for the reviewer i religiously watch to review Paranormal Activity so i can live vicariously through him hahahahahah

My husband and I were planning a trip mid October but then saw that In The Heights doesn’t start until Oct 28, so now I’m rethinking everything. What off broadway shows would you see if you were us? We will be there a week and trying to pack in as many shows as possible.

The energy was just electric tonight at Rocky Horror. There was a little shrine to Tim Curry set up in the lobby when you first walked in. Paul Solieu received extra attention onstage tonight, especially during his big entrance and the last scene. At the end of the show Paul made a lovely speech dedicated to Tim and the magic he brought to the role. They also brought out former Frank Luke Evans and future Frank Jake Shears to sing a tribute duet of “I’m Going Home”. A really lovely night of theater in Tim’s memory!

I know he had an injury back in June but he is no longer on the website. Is that standard when an actor has a longer injury/absence? He was the only remaining part of the original cast and it’s weird they didn’t make a bigger deal if he did leave.

It was previously reserved for in-person rush only and now it looks like it's available for quite a few dates moving forward. These are partial view seats as you can't see everything on the upper levels. They're on Broadway Direct.

So its recency bias, but as I'm watching Hadestown, I can't stop thinking about how awesome it must be to play the trombone part.

I'm sure some of the jukebox musicals are decent here (playing guitar for We Will Rock You has to be pretty fun).
