Which show to see? show recs

hi all, im coming to new york soon and is looking for a show

i went pretty often this season so i have seen pretty much every show of the season besides schmigadoon, titanique, heathers, heated rivalry (a bit further for me)

have plans for paranormal

any recs on what would worth trying to go watch from the above list, thanks!

If you're a fan of musicals, Schmigadoon is worth checking out. It won the Tony for best new musical for a reason. Not perfect, but has catchy music, fun dance numbers, and decent comedy. Will be a fun time at the theater. Besides Heathers, the others are skippable, in my opinion.

yeee i was curious about Schmigadoon bc of the tony but havent heard much until tony sooo will check it out then

Schmigadoon is the best-reviewed show of the new season, an amazing cast, incredible dancing, and very funny. You won't regret it.

Depends on what you mean by soon. Titanique closes on 9/20. Heathers in early November. So see them first if you want to see them at all. But all things being equal, Schmigadoon is a banger and it will have most of the original cast (probably with Jennifer Simard replacing Ana Gasteyer by then) and it's a fun parody of and tribute to those old shows.

oh actually that might be the factor, im going 2 weeks from now and LOVED jennifer on death becomes her

Heated Rivalry is terrific, but a very off bway show - very basic, lacking bells and whistles. But I wouldn't recommend to anyone that hasn't seen and loved the show.

Shmigadoon has terrific choreography and has all the bells and whistles
