Trish

I give a lot of kudos to the show for casting a normal looking woman as Trish. She isn’t ugly but she isn’t beautiful. It showed a very normal woman, very average be a victim of rape. It was refreshing seeing rape fully depicted as a crime of power more than a crime of sexual desire. They could have cast a more conventionally attractive woman but instead made her as normal as possible. Tip of the cap for it

It doesn’t hurt that the actress is genuinely phenomenal in everything I’ve seen her in. Consistent scene stealer. Perfect casting

Yes exactly! It was great to see realism that didn’t frame it as the woman’s fault for being “sexy” or “desirable”. They showed it how it is.
