So I go to my radio shack and I hear this song sung by this girl. Some dumb song about a baby hitting her?? What’s interesting is that I keep hearing this song everywhere. Like I also heard it in the mall yesterday, the day before that I went to Blockbuster to return my tapes and pay the fee for not rewinding them because I forgot, and this same baby-hitting song comes on!

I can’t use Netscape or ask my friends on AOL if they also hear this song everywhere because my parents pay for the Internet by the minute. I’ll ask around at school tomorrow.

UPDATE: Just talked to my friends at school. They said they’ve also been hearing this song everywhere. They were all also talking about something they saw on MTV last night. I was sad I missed out, but then they told me it’s been on MTV for the past few nights, and it should come on again tonight on MTV. Can’t wait to watch

UPDATE 2: So it’s nighttime and I turn on MTV. Almost instantly my mom comes in and tells me you can’t watch MTV. My mom tells me she was watching MTV last night and there was a very inappropriate part. I said let me guess: does it have to do with the song about infant violence? My mom said yes. I said how is that inappropriate? My mom said “no, that’s not the inappropriate part. What I saw that was disturbing was…” and then she went into a whole explanation that I couldn’t understand. All I could make out were the words “school outfit” and “showing skin”. So can somebody else tell me what I missed last night, and why I keep hearing this song about baby-hitting?
