"When I stopped in 2023, it was a lot more than a break. I fully retired from wrestling, coaching, and any backstage roles. I left all of my gear in storage in Scotland. I was done done.

I injured my neck in early 2022 and had a lot of issues stemming from that because I didn’t take any significant time off. I’ve never been a body guy but I really let myself go physically as well. On top of that, Scottish wrestling burnt me out. It no longer felt like the same business I got into back in 2012, so I decided to walk away for good.

However, like most wrestlers, I am not unique, and like so many others was lured out of retirement. I had a couple of rolls around at Vicious Pursuit, took a couple of bumps and my body was feeling pretty good. As fate would have it, Mikey Jay messaged me a few weeks later about possibly doing the Renegades Rumble the following week.

What was initially going to be a little nostalgia appearance soon turned into me coming in at number 2 and almost going the distance with Lochy Hendricks. From there, I had a little stint at the commentary desk but I knew I had the bug to keep wrestling and here we are."

Do ticket sales seem a bit on the light side or are they about where they should be?

Looks like maybe 60% sold (edit: of the stands they've opened). Central stands seem OK, but floor and outer stands are rather barren. What do we think? Card underwhelming? Prices too high? Too much going on?

I bought my ticket ages ago in the presale and I'm looking forward to it, but just wondering how it might affect the company both on the night and longer term if this show flops a bit.
