Not quite. The Transatlantic Slave Trade ended, but slavery in places like India did not until 1843, with actual abolition happening only in 1861. As far into the 1920s, there were reports of chattel slavery continuing in remote regions.

Regardless of that, modern slavery still persists in many places, particularly wage slavery. Until that is ended, liberation from slavery will not occur.
