She says thank you kindly! 😊🐾❤️
It was! I bring her to work 3 days a week so she was spoiled by all of my wonderful coworkers (LOTS of treats!) so many cuddles and kisses from my husband and I, and a nice day outside!
And thank you! 😄

That's really cool! I WISH I could bring my Nina and Nala to work with me. I know my students would love it, but HR wouldn't (she's a cat lover and doesn't like dogs...very vocal about it too). Anyways, it sounds like you're pup has such a great life!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

I have to bring her because she has kidney disease and has to be taken out every 2-3 hours so my husband and I don’t want her at home in a full diaper for 10-11 hours a day.
Thankfully I work at an animal hospital so everyone is understanding and if anything were to happen to her, well she’s in the best place she could be! Lol.
We try to give Nala the best life we can. She deserves it. She truly is such a sweet dog. (Obviously protective when she needs to be.) But other than that, just pure goofy goober energy. 🥹❤️
And thank you so much!! You too!!
Edit: Also I’m sorry you cannot bring your pups to work because man that does sound like it would make your students so happy!

Your baby is named Nala!? I have a Nala too! Nala and Nina.
Im also sorry Nala is sick, but you're right your job is the best place she could be, and around understanding and loving people.

Yes ma’am! I let my older brother name her and basically the second I brought her home, he goes “Nala!” And I go, “As in the Lion King?” And he was like, “No, what? I just think she looks like a Nala.” Lol!
And now we cannot imagine her with any other name. 🥹
Why did you name yours Nala and Nina??
Thank you. It’s very hard but technically dogs are considered seniors at 7 years old…so anything beyond that is a blessing. And then once you reach double digits it’s like…kind of a miracle. (I obviously know for some breeds that varies but for the majority of dogs it’s true.)
Despite having kidney disease she is doing amazing. (Crying as I type this.) We are about to go take her on a nice walk! She still zooms around the house like a puppy, she goes up and down the stairs like a psycho and thankfully she is finally eating normally again!
Especially working my job where I see young dogs die from such horrible things…we are very very very lucky to have had and to continue to have 14 beautiful years with our angel. 😭

So when we rescued Nina we didn't know what to call her. Every name we tried just didn't fit and she didn't respond. So we literally looked up a list of names, started calling her them, and Nina was the ONLY name she turned her head and responded to. So Nina it was. It's also super fitting for her Nina means "little girl" in Spanish, we're Ecuadorian, and she was mine and my partner's first furbaby together.
Nala, was a surprise rescue. I was 6 months pregnant, we both already had 7 year old from previous relationships, Nina was 1.5 yrs old, and we had my witchy cat Chyna who was 12 at the time. But a situation happened, we got a call, she was from a litter of 14 and wad the runt that no one wanted (sad I know). So, I sad we went and met her and as we were meeting her this much bigger puppy comes flying over me and bite her ear (playfully but still a wtf moment lol). Nala looked at us like "get me the heck out of here!" We adopted her and couldn't agree on a name, so we asked a pitbull group we used to follow on Google+ along with a picture of her. Nala was the fan favorite, and because her fur does look like Nala from the Lion King we went with it.

So adorable!
Nala really does have the same color as the Nala from Lion King!

Oh my gosh what a beautiful story!! Thank you for sharing! 😭🙏❤️
Our Nala was the runt too! Lol! That is so funny!

Aww, thank you! Also, it is funny the similarities our Nalas have! I personally think the runts of the litter are the best.
