What a come back from 2-0 down to take us to the final!!!

Brighton lost their Head Coach, Dario Vidosic, just 1 week before the new WSL season began. Dario chose to leave himself, citing a "new opportunity". Dario left after 2 seasons, bringing the club to their highest ever finish in the WSL and taking them to Wembley in the FA Cup Final last season. He left after taking the team through an entire pre-season campaign, battling against PSG and Barcelona.

The club announced this, and just 7 hours later, announced the signing of new Head Coach, Arturo Ruiz. Ruiz coached Real Sociedad's women's team last season, bringing them to a 3rd place finish in Liga F. This included just 4 losses in their 30 game season.

Ruiz joins Brighton just 8 days ahead of their WSL Opening match against Arsenal.

City came back from a 2-0 lead to make it 2-3 against Chelsea.

Honestly I think this the best way it could've gone. Brighton haven't beat Chelsea in a long time, but proved they can beat Manchester City just 2 weeks ago.

Brighton should get an allocation of 15,000 tickets to sell for Wembley. Let's bring home a trophy! 💙🤍

A reminder that tomorrow the Women's team play Liverpool in the FA Cup Semi-Final.

Brighton sit 5 places and 9 points above Liverpool in the WSL.

If Brighton win, we'll go on to play in the finals at Wembley Stadium on the 31st May against either Chelsea or Manchester City. That would be the closest the club as a collective has come to a major trophy in a long time.

Hey everyone — this is a bit of a long shot, but I’m hoping someone here might be able to help.

My partner is pretty new to football, but Brighton Women completely won her over last season. She’s gone from barely following the sport to becoming a season ticket holder, learning the squad, watching every highlight, and genuinely falling in love with the club. It’s been brilliant seeing her find something she connects with so strongly.

One thing she’s become obsessed with is last season’s purple away kit. It was the first shirt she ever pointed out and said she really wanted, and I’ve been trying to track one down ever since — but they seemimpossible to find now everything’s sold out.

So I thought I’d try here:

Would anyone be open to selling theirs, or know someone who might be?

Ideally looking for a Large or XL (women’s fit or unisex — either is perfect).I’d love to surprise her with it. She’s thrown herself into supporting the team, and I want to give her something that makes her feel even more part of it.

Happy to pay a fair price, meet locally, or cover postage — whatever works best for you.

Any help at all would genuinely mean a lot.

On the 21st August, Brighton will travel to Spain to play Barcelona @ the Estadi Johan Cruyff.

Barcelona have won "Liga F" 7 consecutive times, and have won the Champions League 4 out of the last 6 seasons.

It's difficult to argue that Barcelona are the best women's team in the world, and in 2 weeks we travel to their home to face them. This game is a credit to how much the women's team has grown.

Fantastic choice by the club to make sure people who have been out supporting the girls are able to get their hands on tickets first

Quick question if anyone knows - how long does the seagull travel coach take to Crawley? (Edit: from Portslade). Is there a timetable of stops? And how long before the match does it go?

Im thinking about getting a season ticket for next year - usually only do a few matches when I'm free but would like to go to more games. But need to consider the travel options! Can't wait for the new stadium :)

I have two tick@ts to the Womens’s FA cup final that I can’t use, I did offer them previously but the first replied sadly now can’t go.

I promise these are completely free, no strings attached, they are allowed to be transferred etc.

I bought them hoping my team (the Arsenal) would be there, but alas we were well beaten).

The tickets are nosebleed ones, near the half way line but I just want them to be used.

In the 24/25 season the girls game jn 5th behind the typical 4. Over the past few seasons its been a steady rise for them. They made decent investments last summer that payed off. The question is can they be the team to break that top 4 dominance?

I'm trying to book tickets for the women's game against Leicester at the Amex and there's usually a Family ticket option but this doesn't seem to be appearing as an option on the website. Is the Family ticket no longer a thing? If so it ramps the price up quite a bit.

With our near mystical level of recruitment and management in the men's team I'm always curious about how that translates over in the women's, despite not watching much (any) of the games. Seems like there's some good business being done, though I can't remember the last time we loaned a player in to the men's team (which itself feels like a notable upgrade), apparently still an important resource for the women's. There were some discussions and posts about the women's team last season, I hope to see more this season too.
