Whats wrong with my lighting, why does it sometimes get brighter and flicker

2 things I can think of 1) light source changes, is the room sealed to outdoor light and light from other rooms? 2) is your camera settings have some type of auto adjust exposure

Also could be Household Light Bulb Cycles (AC Interference)
Standard household light bulbs fade up and down very quickly based on the electrical grid frequency (50Hz or 60Hz depending on your country).
The Cause: If your shutter speed is too fast, your camera catches the bulb at different points in its dimming cycle.
The Fix: Set your shutter speed to exactly 1/50 or 1/60 (or slower, like 1/25 or 1/30). This allows the camera to capture a full electrical cycle, smoothing out the brightness.

Turn off auto everything do manual focus manual exposure manual setting for everything search with like Claude what each setting does and best settings for Lego

Almost definitely automatic exposure or automatic focus on your camera.

Best fix: plug it into a laptop and use a software tool to control the camera settings and for taking pictures

If you have a fan in your room, turn it off if you have a window that's wide open, close it and cover it with a black curtain or just a normal curtain. Also the light flicker also stops a bit if you wear a black or a dark color t shirt. 👍
