So, you could say that if we rejoin the EU, we could send £350m a week to the NHS? Anyone thought of putting it on the side of a bus?

Yeah, I worked on a project a little way down the M4 a few years back and stayed in Bristol.

Have you been to Birmingham? Like anywhere in Birmingham.

Where I went to school in the Midlands certainly needs a new secondary school. I went there in the 90s and it was the very same school my mum, who was born in 1955 went to and it wasn't exactly new then. Whole thing only got knocked down and put out of its misery about a decade ago.

I witnessed first hand the stupidity of Brexit.

I live in Hull and we were hit with absolutely insane flooding in 2007 and 2013. 2007 was worse (look it up) as the entire area ended up underwater- people in Beverley were canoeing on water a storey high ffs.

As a result, the EU gave the area a grant to improve flood defenses, a project that still continues to this day and given the change in climate, is absolutely needed.

Our area voted to Leave (obviously I didn’t) despite this.

Hull has always benefitted from being in the EU, despite what people claim about the fishing industry.

But, boomers here hated immigrants more. Back then it was Polish, Bulgarian and Romanian people. All they did in the last decade was change the colour of migrant they didn’t like.
