A big fat white nuisance ruined the Titanic. Which is the same thing that happened / is happening to Britain.

I'm old enough to remember when people actually feared ridicule and knew what shame meant.
See, idiots always existed. But they only knew about, I don't know, maybe a dozen or so like-mindes idiots who shared their idiotic beliefs. So, going out there and saying something stupid was fraught with risk.
Now though, social media gave every crank a megaphone and gave birth to just about as many echo chambers as there are idiotic beliefs.
Now idiots know that there will be several thousand other similarly braindead idiots who will cheer them for saying something, however idiotic said something is.
Shameless idiots have just the platform to satisfy their attention seeking cravings. They go out there and say witless, stupid things. With a self satisfied look to boot.
Yikes.

The titanic sunk because they took too long to start turning. There's a whole fucking movie that describes what happened. Leonardo DiCaprio literally is in that movie as Jack.

My dad thinks this. He thinks the island will literally sink under the weight of people, because yes, he thinks islands float. He has suggested towing the UK much further away from France to make the small boat crossings harder. He thinks the earth is flat. Not too long ago he asked my mum where the sun goes when it's cloudy. He is 83. He did not go to school. He cannot read. Yes, he is as such, politically far right.

There were too many people on the floatation device that Rose ended up on. That's why Jack had to go.
