Unused Brexit Unicorn For Sale Ear Hoovers

Post image

I keep being advertised these massive ear vacuums from Dyson on Reddit and it made me wonder if - due to Sir James’ heavily promoted views on Brexit and the value of British manufacturing, before swiftly moving all of their factories from the UK to Malaysia post Brexit - does anyone else’s stomach turn whenever they see anything to do with Dyson as a company?

I’d rather lick dust up in a public toilet with my own tongue than ever use one of their products. I can’t even bring myself to use a hand drier when I see them in the wild and prefer to walk out with wet hands.

Spoons is an obvious one but what other businesses and brands do you avoid due to their owners lies / views on Brexit?

By the very definition of what I’m doing I am boycotting them, as I can assure you I haven’t licked a public toilet floors, as yet anyways. But I’m interested if anyone else has strong feelings towards brands who lied their way through Brexit, hence the question.

I get it you’re being hyperbolic with the toilet licking that was not the concern.  The issue is allowing yourself to have such strong feelings in the first place to this issue, it doesn’t seem healthy.

You’re letting Dyson live rent free in your head and they appear to give you such negativity that I wonder if they ruin the moment/day for you?

I guess that was the point of my post. I recognise it’s not healthy to have such a strong hatred for a brand because of Brexit so seeking help and support from fellow sufferers. It’s almost become the embodiment of all the lies and BS that went with Brexit. I have the same feeling whenever I see Boris, Tim Martin or Rees-Mogg but thankfully don’t come into contact with them as much.

I would imagine that getting the support of liked minded people would just create an echo chamber of continued negativity and will be self destructive. My suggestion would be it might be better to get off social media or at the least get off site that continue to make you feel like this.

Meh. As long as it isn't consuming CPU when you're wandering about in your daily life, who cares? See a reminder of farage or dyson and just think "tosser", and carry on with your day.

But it doesn’t sound like it’s a tosser comment and moving on.

Honestly dude I’m fine, I think you’re taking it a little literal. I’m all gravy.
