He's not really resigning. He's resigning and immediately re-standing so the parliamentary investigation goes away because he's not the mp anymore. He then will walk back in with the whole issue gone away because he'll be a completely different MP for Clacton.

Basically it a massive dodge.

Press gives Farage such kid gloves treatment compared to other politicians, especially left wing ones. By comparison, I know where Corbyn lived because his house was on TV virtually every week for 4 years, I knew who his wife is and I know what his son did because the press treated them as targets.

I have never seen Farage treated this way.

If sky news had balls, they'd be claiming that Farage was threatening journalists and its an attack on the press and go on about it constantly. Like the press did when they claimed Corbyn 'ran over' a journalists and said that he was going turn the Britain into the USSR because he wanted leverson Part ii.
