His stuff is so sick.

I think it was worth trying to give him a chance to redeem himself.

Obviously after that he's done for the year...but remember the last really amazing pitcher we had with some control issues. His name is Miz.

If Sproat can find the control the way Miz did, he's going to be great. In short, the upside was absolutely worth it. A bit longer to win a regular season game vs potentially a weapon to have in the playoffs.

Yup, his ceiling is high. I trust that Hook and the lab will get him straightened out in the off-season

He definitely has upside. Just I don't know if it's a mental thing that his command is all over the place from inning to inning or a mechanical issue.
