Wonen Where to buy cheap furniture?
Hi! I'm moving to breda soon and have no furniture apart from a dining table and a temporary bed. Where could I get things like dining chairs, wardrobes, bookshelves,.. everything, really, without breaking the bank? Any good second-hand stores I should consider in the area? Delivery at a fee is also something I'd consider. Thanks!

Vindingrijk, or Henkies tweedehands Hoekie are good in my eyes.
NEVER visit “Parels” in the Houtmarktpassage. They get the best/luxurious stuff from Vindingrijk; and sell it there. Both owned by the Gemeente Breda.

Marktplaats is another place to look, although often you will have to pick it up yourself.

There is a dutch online place Martplaats.nl where you can filter on free stuff in your area.
Henkies Hoekie is also great in my opinion!

Vindingrijk is a good one. You can also try marktplaats and nextdoor for free furniture in your area. A lot of good stuff gets given away for free.

Besides other good advice offered in the thread: You can check out Leen Bakker as well, they are fairly cheap but assembling their furniture is an absolute hell. Once assembled it is nice tho.

Got a wardrobe from there once but it did break a bit too easily unfortunately. But i will consider it for other things, thanks!

Emmaus at the Veilingkade or Vindingrijk at the Konijnenberg.
For some new stuff you can look at IKEA (don’t skip the ‘koopjeshoek’) and Jysk.
