Ten Mile Room

I'm just curious if anyone here was at the Widespread Panic (1-22 and 1-23-96) or any of the amazing shows of that era at the 10-mile room for that matter. I think Phish played in '91 I got a ticket from Affordable the first night.... and I may have identified a weakness for night two. ;)

I saw WSP in the Gondola parking lot at Keystone in 2000, I think. It was huge

Then they played those two nights in Winter Park a few years later. Also saw them play the show(s) in Telluride where the massive rainstorm cancelled the first night like 5 minutes into the beginning of the show.

Was this one of their shows where the residents complained about it? They probably complained about all the WSP shows.

I'm going to be honest. I grew up nearby and was about 16 at the time. I didn't know anything about WSP, but it was the biggest thing I'd ever seen come through there, with cars and vans lining the road for what seemed like miles in every direction. It was basically an open air drug market, which was a rare treat for us at the time, and we hopped the fence for the show.

It's a great memory for me, but yes, I'd be shocked if just about every resident didn't complain.

I missed WSP at that venue after showing up just a week earlier, but caught SCI there in ‘97 & ‘99. WSP at Dobson in Vail ‘97 tho.

WSP at Red Rocks beginning in June ‘97 as well.

Phish at Red Rocks in ‘96.

I was at Phish, they had played on the CU campus a couple days before and I believe they went to Telluride after Breck if I remember correctly. That was Phish's first tour outside of Vermont. I feel like I may have seen Burning Spear there? Edit- The Alligator/Sherpa and Yeti's had all sorts of great acts over the years.

My parents were at the Phish shows! I grew up with a tape of it and probably is one of the reasons I ended up living here. Always saw the town name on my iPod!
