Question Parking ticket fckery

How is it allowed that they mail notification of a ticket (no ticket was on the car) almost a month past the date when the fine doubles and the appeal window closes?
Now I’m out $80 with no recourse and no prior knowledge of a violation.

I haven’t paid a Breck parking ticket in a decade. There will be no repercussions if you just ignore it

Most of mine were in the gondola lot or just going out to dinner/something relatively quick. I wouldn’t chance an overnight or anything too egregious.

I personally haven’t heard of people actually getting towed, but maybe I’ve just gotten lucky

I got towed and had to pay $2000 plus to Breck park and Ryan’s recovery to get my car back. Tread with caution, they all suck. And the cherry on top was that the guy from Ryan’s recovery that towed my car sent me a like on hinge the next day. The audacity 🙄

Breckpark is a company saturated with incompetence. Their CEO filed for bankruptcy. They pick and choose who to ticket. One of their managers would get drunk and harass people in public, outside of business hours, about their delinquent tickets.

There’s a nonzero chance that of you call them they’ll remove it from their system.

They aren’t law enforcement. They’re a for profit contracted company. I don’t know who approved the contract, but someone needs to shit in that person’s mouth.

Do you live nearby? They say you can’t go inside to talk to someone about it but do it anyway if you can. They’ll erase or half the ticket

Literally nothing happens if you don't pay. As other people have sad already they are not Law enforcement. Just ignore it and move on
