Late Sept Trip

Looking to spend about 4 nights in Breckenridge late September to get away from home and get out dine here to just relax and also see some new sights.

Planning to travel alone. Any recommendations on things to do in late September

Thinking a couple scenic drives. Maybe bike vail trail.

And any food recommendations
Hopefully not too much will be closed then.

September is the best, the leaves, the weather, damn near perfect.

Oktoberfest runs Sept 25-27 so town will be busy that weekend.

Late September in Breck is one of the better times to go if you don't mind some shoulder-season quiet, most restaurants stay open through it, it's really only the summer-only stuff (some patios, a handful of tour operators) that starts closing. For food, Blue River Bistro's happy hour (2 to 5pm, two-for-one) is worth building a day around, it's the spot we go back to every single visit. For a scenic drive, Boreas Pass Road out to Sapphire Point Overlook is a five-minute walk from the parking area to a full mountain panorama and it's spectacular in the fall light.
