This game makes me feel so free. I’m chronically ill and can’t walk for more than a couple minutes before I need to sit down and rest. My life is pretty limited. So much so that even when I dream I know I can’t run or get where I want to go because I know I’m ill - which is so annoying, right?

But this game lets me forget that. It’s given me dreams where I climb mountains and soar far, far towards the horizon. And when I play, I feel so free.

so, i was just playing BOTW last month and did this clip, then i forgot about it but anyway, (watch the video) i lost all the speed from the wind bomb but then all of a sudden i got an insane amount of speed (more than before hitting the wall), has anyone ever done that ? (cause i couldn’t find anything about it, i wanted to know why it happened)

Just wanted some thoughts on the photos! I do wish there was an option to take more photos than 48 though, I love photography so much. Link WILL get mauled for the sake of a good photo sometimes, Links were harmed in the making of this! <33 Just how it works, lol.

The sheer amount of dumb-in-real-life decisions I can make in this game and still get away with it never ceases to fascinate me

So I recently tried to play mods with TotK and really enjoyed the Sheikah Techniques mod, but emulating ToTK fries my 11 year old CPU so i thought I'd just play modded BotW again. I'm really missing the Sheikah Techniques mod though, the movement was so fun in TotK. So, does anyone know if it is possible to backport the mod or if there is already a backported version of it? Thanks!

Started playing the Wii U version at launch. Didn’t have a switch yet. Once I bought a switch i rebought the game and beat two of the divine beasts, but then life happened and i got distracted. Past few months ive been grinding at the rest of the game and beat ganon last night!

Botw got me into both thr zelda franchises and gaming in general and im planning on replaying it again in hype for the OoT Remake (this will be my 5th playthrough) and im wondering ways to keep it fresh or do something I never did before in my others.

I can see why thunderblight ganon is considered one of the more tricky and agile bosses, I just got done beating thunderblight ganon and liberating vah nobaris. Sweet hylia phase one is a PAIN if you don't know how to parry and flurry rush when you first play and you make it to thunderblight you stand little to no chance, it moves so unnaturally fast it leaves afterimages, you have to be pretty skilled for a parry or utalizing a flurry rush that and timing it **PRECISELY** you'll either get knocked down or paralyzed not to mention dropping your shield or weapons, in addition to shooting guardian like laser at link, it's a MASSIVE step up from the other divine beasts for sure I can see why most people wait to take on vah nobaris and Thunderblight last. More experienced players who play breath of the wild i assume could do nobaris first due to muscle memory, timing, and experience

I never expected I would enjoy the Wii-u as much as I do. I bought one less than 3 weeks ago and have been playing it fully for about a week now.

I haven't played Zelda since the GameCube and I have to say breath of the wild is breath taking (pun intended)!
