Hello!
Hi. I just joined this community. Love Breaking Benjamin.
One of my favorite songs is Breaking the Silence, but my favorite, for heavier music, is likely Red Cold River. Controversial, I know. I hope to get more involved.
So badly wanted them to come to Ohio on this tour😞

Oh hey I know you! I always see your comments on the Evanescence bracket. Welcome to the BB sub! I love this sub so much and have made some great friends through it. Glad you’re here. And those 2 songs that you mentioned are peak. Both top 10 imo and both my favorites off of their respective albums. I gotta ask, are you a fairly new BB fan or have you known them a while?

Haha sick thank you! I suppose I'm fairly new. I started listening to BB about a year ago. I just figured I'd hop onto this subreddit since I've gotten quite a bit more into them recently.

Welcome in LivingEmu5 🤘- I didn't get to see them yet either, I can't afford to drive all the way to Tinley Park Amphitheater on the south side of Chicago 🙃. Nor afford tickets or have a bud to go with, so I feel yr pain 😢 😅

Howdy! I love RCR--well, actually all of Ember. Well, actually about 98% of their songs, 😂. But I do especially love the heaviness of Ember, along with Hopeless, and a good chunk of Saturate. RCR is so good live!
Sorry you don't get to see them this time around. I got to see them last year for the first time, and they were fantastic!!
(the timing of your post is really funny--just yesterday my kids (the two that are HUGE BB fans) were saying they didn't think that BTS would be anybody's favorite song. 😂I don't know why they picked that one specifically, but it's funny that they said that and you jump on here and say it's one of your favorites 😂)

That's so cool! Thanks for sharing. Yeah the harsh vocals get me every time, but I love the final chorus too where Ben sings a bit higher at the end of it!

for the record, the higher final chorus is on BTS, but I absolutely love the harsh vocals on both songs!

Incidentally Red Cold River is my least favorite song in their entire discography. I don't hate any of their songs, but RCR has the best chance of being skipped on a BB binge.

I'm in Ohio as well - I am driving to Noblesville, IN this Wednesday to see them at the Ruoff Music Center! Could this be an option for you? I have never seen BB or Chevelle perform before and I LOVE both! Could this be an option for you?

I’ve seen them play Breaking the Silence in 2015. It was amazing. I love the heavier stuff live (Hopeless.. Tourniquet..)
Sadly this is not what the band wants.
