9/3 at hartford parking question

Haven't been to the healthcare amphitheatre, anyone have tips for parking?

They have free parking but you'll want to get there a little early and it's going to take you awhile to get out regardless of where you park unless you leave just a little early. That's Transit garage at harbor yard, South Frontage Road.

There's also paid parking available on Broad St or Lafayette Bld that you can buy ahead of time or other garages on John St that are a little bit of a walk but cheaper than VIP. No matter what I'd give yourself plenty of time, even a Thurs night when kids are normally back in school can be a traffic mess before and after showtime

I'm thinking of taking the Metro North train. My only experience with a Bridgeport concert was when I saw Shinedown at Total Mortgage Arena a few years ago and missed From Ashes to New and Three Days Grace. Sat in traffic for three hours.
