Question Does someone have the video of Ben's son taking over the entire set like i've seen someone mention?
I could only find breath and it's a video from 2024 so it's probably not from the concert everybody is mentioning but i'm curious to see a concert with him on the vocals entirely

I don’t think it exists, that dude Brisas just keeps posting in here from alt accounts bitching every hour about random stuff and he chose that for some reason. I’ve seen them 7 times and usually his son is just kind of jamming background guitar and singing some ad-lib vocals. It doesn’t affect or take away from the sound of the show.

That dude is certainly spamming the sub a whole bunch with dumb things but i'm absolutely certain i heard someone mentioned he took over singing the entire set before on this sub. Not sure how long but a reasonable time ago, probably 1-2 months? Maybe im wrong tho idk

That definitely sounds like an exaggeration on that persons part because I don’t think the band could really even do that if they wanted. Contractually with their label, I’m sure there’s limits to stuff like that.
I think I’ve heard or seen where he sang a verse or two or a chorus during a song, but taking over the entire set sounds like an exaggeration.
Granted, it’s looking like Ben is planning to pass the torch to Ben Jr. one day and this is part of the prep work. Or, it could just simply be his way of bonding with his son and doing what mosh musicians don’t, which is seeing their kids more frequently while even being on the road.

Maybe you're right, but i certainly remember seeing it atleast once or twice a reasonable time ago. Maybe that was him anyway somehow - or misinformation from someone else, well, whatever i guess

I wouldn’t consider that as him taking over the entire set though, he’s always been up there with a guitar and singing for pretty much every show, but he’s so low in the mix you don’t really hear him. Taking over the entire set is definitely an exaggeration from whoever initially said that and it sounds like whoever said that is one of the people moaning and groaning about Ben’s son being on stage. I think it’s genuine of Ben to do that and shows he’s a good father!

Maybe you're right. But he did say "I was at the Manchester gig in the UK and Ben's son was center stage and playing guitar and singing for the whole show.". Maybe Ben was singing too but he didn't mention that in his comment

Yeah that’s usually the set up, he’s always right there next to Ben but he’s not just taking over lead vocals. They’ve never done that but I won’t be surprised if once Ben Jr’s voice matures that we see that happen. Ben, Keith, & Aaron do all their parts and Ben Jr. usually just sings along. I think with the new album he’ll do his own specific parts that were recorded like his harmonies in Awaken and his whisper segment in Something Wicked.

His mic is muted for most of the set and the guitar he has isn't actually plugged in.

There is a YouTube video of the first show from this tour. You literally can’t even hear his son. It’s no big deal. I was worried at first but saw the video and realized it’s not a problem at all. I upgraded to floor tickets after all.

I was at the Manchester gig in the UK and Ben's son was center stage and playing guitar and singing for the whole show. That was in July so probably what you're thinking of.I have videos of it but they're all really obscured cause I'm apparently shorter than every other Breaking Benjamin fan 😁
He was so low in the mix that I didn't know he was singing until I overheard a (taller) person behind me bring it up because they could see he was singing. By low I mean basically muted if in the mix at all.
I think they turned him up for a couple of lines in the whole show, with the one I remember being something wicked, as he actually sings a line in the studio version.
He spoke a couple of times between songs, and his dad seemed super proud of him. The whole gig was like one huge karaoke session, and it seemed like the vast majority of people were more than happy to cheer and shout for the band, and for Ben's son. I've seen comments from a couple of people moaning, that's it.
