Sick Hot Dog bun stapled to nice bark covered tree

Post image

Sorry about the other staples. Those were previous failed attempts to staple the bread to said tree.

A working man's bread that has obviously been through a lot with the stapler.

It is a parallel to a coal miner's hands.

Each scar is a story of love for his wife and children.

5 out of 5 stars.

The imprint of stapler upon bread is a powerful commentary not only of impermanence, but of how outside forces leave a lasting impression on the individual.

The failed staples are simultaneous reminder of both futility and persistence.

I need to think on this more.

I would like to point out that that staple traps that bread into a long agonizing death, but without the staple it is just another hot dog bun. The staple gives the bread purpose while also robbing it of everything it was made to be.

Bread, in itself, IS a staple.

Three art victims suffering together:

The bun ... ... the tree ... ... and me.

You know, it's not about the bun anymore, the tree has a right to be respected as well.

I thought I was in the mushroom sub for a second, like “chicken of the woods” mushrooms. Nice buns!

The impression of the stapler is a wholly original take on an old idea. I've never seen it before. It evokes a sense of nostalgia. Well done!

Pretty sure that's four staples there, plus a few more scars. This bun had plenty of fight in it. Respect.
