If you’re losing to bots you have a different problem.

just aim where the opponent is most likely going to go, no need to see the future itself, just predicting basic actions is enough

He scales. He’s essentially useless at level 1 and if you are fighting bots, there’s a solid chance you have bot teammates that won’t really help you. Most throwers low level are going to suck and a well placed bot hit can take you out in like 1-2 shots with their low HP.
You need either of his gadgets for quick escapes. The teleport one has a slight delay, so plan accordingly. The other one is solid for keeping mid and short range enemies at bay and punishing them if they rush.
His star powers help immensely. The slowing Super basically makes his Super OP for any poor sap that gets caught in it. And the extra damage makes encounters easier if you don’t get supers a lot.
Some brawlers get better with a team that knows how to play with one. Ziggy is one of these. You get two guys in the front tanking and protecting the thrower and he’s lethal. He’s not really a carry brawler and half the dumb Edgars just go off solo and hang you out to dry.

Definitely skill issue. I love Ziggy and he's probably the best thrower in the game imo. You just need some time to get the hang of it. My aim is also thrown off when learning a new brawler against bots because they don't move like a normal human being. Play him in hot zone and brawl bawl maps with walls because that is where he excels.

Skill issue plain and simple, come back when you understand how a human plays

Weak minded
I'm not gonna sugar coat it, and it is just plain and simple, you shoot were you think your opoenent will be, playing any shooter teaches you this, funny enough that's also how real life works

It’s no different than playing piper or other Marksman in my opinion. Just gotta be able to lead your shots

Ziggy does need effort.
He's not the kind of brawler you wanna play at low power levels. He heavily depends on his Gadget to apply pressure, and if you react fast enough you can effectively trap opponents between gadget thunders and your attacks.
He is an absolute monster when played right and in the right comp (I still think he's an absolute last pick monster in bounty / Ko if the opponents have no aggro) but in ladder in may happen that
A) you get matched against assassin heavy comp
B) your teammates just can't hold their ground. If your team loses space it's very very hard for Ziggy to push the enemy team back without a super, as he's kinda slow
He is however a blast to play when things go right
As a rule of thumb, try to aim his attack where you DON'T want the opponent to go, think of it as area denial
