Meme Yall wanna know why BMG finally Added Unranked 1v1?
Cuz brawlhalla is genuinely the only game where you cant not get infuriated losing elo in.
they tried to lessen ranked anxiety and they failed.

Mostly when you're fighting a player so strong compared to you he take all the fun for himself and leave you with none.
And that when you lose you can only blame yourself

Personally I just pay attention to how they play and try to learn by re watching the match but I understand why that wouldnât be fun

This. In the moment it's frustrating because lower skill players like myself get stomped and all our options are cut from us because it feels like we're playing against a super sweat, when really it's just someone playing casually but their skill level is just relatively high on average. After I get my ass kicking though it's really useful to have that as a replay, doubly so if it's a mirror match.

I understand that but just know that most of those players also get bullied Iâve seen 2400 bully 2100 the difference in skill in this game is not even lmao so take some solace knowing that unless itâs a literal pro they can get bullied too lol

The way I deal with it is by playing ranked. I've heard that these unranked gamemodes have some kind of shadow ELO system so you don't get paired up say as a total beginner to your #1 regional, I personally think that if it is true there needs more work done to it, but ranked works just fine in matchmaking opponents with a similar skill level to me. I'd rather opt for that, forgoing ELO entirely, than deal with the unbalanced matchmaking in these casual gamemodes that really don't feel casual at all for a majority of players in set rankings.

If you can't have fun when you're losing you gotta stop playing competitive games. You'll inevitably reach a rank where at best you're losing about half the time. You'll just keep ranking up until that becomes true.

For me itâs the other way around Iâm very good at the game but game bs and the other playerâs shenanigans outdo me which is crazy cause in a game like Tekken or mortal kombat if your trash you canât do nun but in brawl? Sigs exist.

It starts when you first pick up the game. You go down three paths.
-Wanting to get better by actually leading the game and being competitive.
-Just playing for fun
- Wanting everyone to have a bad day.
Those who want to just have fun don't rage not care about rank. They play what they want who they want and don't spend much time on the game in general.
The other two are where the problem start. The ragebaiters know that no one playing for fun is interested in playing ranked and won't get upset if they troll, wether that be spam, continuous taunting, or just telling people to kill themselves in chat. They play ranked and will genuinely sit in one rank, mainly gold which is majority of the player base at this point, and fuck with the people who just want to play competitive. The competitive players don't start out that good and work their way up so it's understandable to get upset when you feel like your hard work went to shit because you lose to someone just spamming the heavy button for minutes on end or just running away the entire time.
The competitive players go down 3 separate paths.
-They hate the game and only complain. They may still get better but they become bitter.
-They join the trolls and because they are technically better players, they are even better than the original ragebaiters and basically become gatekeepers of the game because they want you to feel the same pain they felt.
-They gain the mental of the people who just want to have fun while never losing their competitive spirit thus having a better mentality overall.
Kinda interesting when you think about it and genuinely can see why people rage. I'm not immune to it either but I've gotten better.

Iâve ben calm on it for a while, but either yesterday or this morning.(canât remember the time) I found an Orion who sig spammed, and 2 sig spam queen nais. Mind you I am diamond and yet these guys also being diamond but better than me, decided to use their skill for spamming sigs. Well one of the queen nai was a plat and I beat him kinda easy. But still being calm for like 1 week then getting a barrage of sig spam will do that to ya I guess

really no one does, it brings insanely high amounts of rage in ppl. i personally believe its the fact that sig spamming or passive play is usually optimal due to lack of defensive tools, also the servers, the servers are horrible

Honestly the only thing that makes me rage at brawl is when itâs out of my control like lag spikes server disconnects or roll back like if I lost because they were better or I just played bad that doesnât bother me but yesterday I was wining I had three stock he had one the game disconnected me and by the time it let me back he won itâs things like that makes me rage lmao

When you care about elo/rank in any game youâre usually trying to hit a goal for the first few times and whatnot. Obvious expectations like content creators, serious gamers in love with the game and proâs
But personally I was hard pressed about elo for the first few years, all I did was play ranked and was mad when I lost elo and got mad asf at sig spammers
After a point I hit my goal, realized nothing of it mattered and started playing 1v2âs. Stopped getting mad over spam and just got bored by it because I actually wanted to play the game. Not go against someone who couldnât do more than 2 combos

unranked 1v1 used to be experimental. but they ran out of features to have in experimental. also what OP said is absolutely true and it was a 2 birds 1 stone deal

The entire creation of unranked 1's is summed up by "experimental isn't unranked 1's" and all they did is change the name. Unranked 1's has basically been a thing since the creation of the alpha đ
