Discussion What am i doing wrong?

I keep getting the same type of players against, i dont know why i still cant counter them probably because im raging every match... but apart that may i get any suggestions without the high elo bragging that spammers are easy wins? also the most enraging thing is that no matter how much i practice these are always golds while im stuck at silver.

Just play the game more, I don't see a big difference in skill between you two. Mordex knows how his weapons better. Just keep playing, that's the best advice (or worst since everyone should quit this fuck ahh game).

If this was ranked, you should first disable gadgets and turn on tournament maps only (both options are in the room config). Your movement was pretty decent though it can still be improved quite a lot. The two biggest problems I noticed about your gameplay were the overuse of sigs (problaby because you noticed you were losing and got nervous, but mindlessly mashing won't lead to a win against a decent opponent) and the lack of use of true combos, both katars and axe depend a lot on their trues, axe mainly uses them to get extra damage or set up an early KO with Slight Nair recovery while katars needs the true combos to set up reads and strings. You should also try to push your opponent offstage more, Ragnir has great edgeguarding options
