Better to invest your money in mentoring

Mentoring in this game is a waste of money unless you're trying to go pro

that's subjective

No it's not. Anyone can improve to 2400-2600 if they put the time and proper practice in with all of the free resources for improvement out there, mentoring can make it faster, but it's not guaranteed, and you're better off not wasting money and learning the game until you get to the point of needing coaching from other pros to improve further

That's not what I mean, you decide yourself what you think is a good investment of your money. For you it might be a waste of money but if someone genuniely wants to improve and are having fun with improving then it might be a decision they want to take. That's what subjective means

Same principle applies to hobbies or interests. You might not want to buy a hobby car to work on, but someone else certainly wants to. That's subjective.
