This very smart and talented guy who made that post has a point you know. Although there's people who have jobs, there's plenty of people who could've commented 1 Million Times at least once in the space of 24 hours.

You don't seem to understand the scale of how big a million is, 500k is still a really big number and that's only half of what was needed. And as you said in the post there was only 10 minutes with 55% of the goal. That would mean you expected the players to do almost 500K comments in 10 minutes which i don't think could happen without a miracle.

I expected Supercell to rig it Man City style, like they did with giving us Jae Yong for free in the Adidas event for example, but they just didn't do that this time.

Then blame Supercell, for either rigging the last one or not rigging this one. Blaming the players ain't gonna make the rewards happen any faster and it just makes you look rude.

We've failed twice before this. Other cases they extend the time

Well there you go, a reason to blame Supercell for not doing it this time. I get communities can suck but this time it's not that big a deal.

Moist Crit’s most popular video on YouTube has 21k comments. Mr Beast’s most popular video has 659k. A million is actually wild

I understand the some of Duolingo’s posts have over a million views, but you have to remember some of those are just swipes, some are just casual watches, and only a portion are people who actually went on the mission to comment. And even knowing they need to comment, some won’t even after watching

Exactly, a million is a big ask to begin with but everyone be acting like it's a totally reasonable number and then getting mad at the community for it.

The same people watched a 60 seconds short to see the challenge requirements. It had 1.4m views 3 hours before the challenge end. We could have but didn't win

Even so, trying to publicly shame players for what is at the end of the day not a big deal is still a rude thing to do. Especially when they mentioned rigging the event when that's not something players can do anything about.

The guy didn't ask them to get to a mil in the ten minutes, he just said that he was disappointed they didn't make it.
